Empathy.
I have a colleague that made a big mistake. Because of our roles and responsibilities within the company, I had to pick up the pieces of his fall-out. And I. was. pissed. about it. đ€ His poor judgment caused me additional stress and hours more of work. I made damn sure he knew all that I had to do to cover his ass. In the Four Agreements, Don Miguel Ruiz defines impeccable as âwithout sinâ. A sin is anything that you do which goes against yourself. Don Miguel Ruiz Who we are has been shaped by the morals, values, opinions, judgments, and fears of those around us. Most notably, our parents who have influenced our entire belief system since birth. How do we know who we really are when so much of who we are has been influenced by others? Melancholy is defined as a âdepression of spiritsâ or a âpensive mood.â I want to focus on the former definition, because I feel like thatâs exactly what weâre experiencing as humans right now.
